Zero-Waste ensures no harm is done to people, animals, air, water and soil. It's a fancy way of saying materials, substances and resources are refused if they are harmful, reduced in usage, reused if possible, recycled 90% of the time or more, and rotted or composted to return organics to the soil. We offer zero-waste recycling memberships to our customers so they can responsibly dispose of all of their waste, everything from food waste, oyster shells, cooking oil, aluminum, paper, glass, razor blades, batteries, electronic, nail polish, etc. You name it. We help you find a place to take it. #WasteLess
Regenerative agriculture is basically "real deal" organic agriculture with a boost. What makes regenerative agriculture so important is the effect on the ecosystem: it sequesters carbon, increases biodiversity and builds healthy soil. No synthetic fertilizers or chemicals are applied to fields-this reduces pollution and eliminates runoff. We observe the harmful effects of agricultural runoff and water pollution each year when the enormous algal blooms create a Dead Zone in our gulf.
